Fluorescent & phosphorescent selenite from Manitoba, Canada

Nice specimen of gypsum var. selenite from the Red River Floodway, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

In the first picture, the specimen is shown fluorescing under shortwave UV; in the second picture, the shortwave UV phosphorescence/"afterglow" is shown; then, in the third picture, the longwave UV response of the specimen is shown. The longwave UV phosphorescence is shown in the fourth image, and lastly, the specimen is shown in visible light in the last picture.

I purchased this specimen in September 2021.
