Everything you wanted to know about fluorescent minerals, but were terrified to ask.

In January 2015 Bob Oblack (FMS member #1915, Molalla, Oregon) gave an excellent presentation to the TUALATIN VALLEY ROCK AND GEM CLUB in Forest Grove, OR. With his permission it was posted in the public files section in the FMS Fluorescent Mineral Group on FB, and is reproduced here as a slide show. You may let it run automatically (if you're a quick reader) or flip the slides manually (there's a pause control in the upper right area of the slides; it's white text, so wait for a black slide).
