From a Belgian karst region: calcite

Belgium has quite a few calcite quarries that yield fluorescent specimens. There's one at Chanxhes, near Liège, in the Liège Province. Humic acids are incorporated in the calcite during formation and give rise to this fluorescence. Displays well under LW-UV.
