Aragonite from the Cozzo Disi Mine, Agrigento, Sicily, Italy

The fluorescence on this bunch of aragonite crystals is unusual. Under shortwave UV this piece is whiter than the normal peach color, also under MW. Under LW it shows the classic pink fluorescence. It is also unusually phosphorescent (last pic below).
