Anthophyllite, Tremolite, Talc - Talcville, New York

A mixture of anthophyllite (formerly known as manganocummingtonite) and tremolite crystals with minor talc. The anthophyllite fluoresces a dim violet in SW and violet red in LW. The tremolite is orange in both wavelengths, and the talc fluoresces a greenish white in SW.

SW lit by 15w Glw Stck. LW lit by a pair of 365nm flashlights. Specimen is 70 x 50 x 10mm.
