"Swedish Flag" - Margarosanite, Wollastonite, Calcite, Jakobsberg, Sweden

From the collection of Howie Green, Swedish Flag is perhaps the most striking fluorescent mineral that is found in the area around Langban, Sweden. Named for the colors of the country, the wollastonite is a nice bright yellow, margarosanite a beautiful blue - all against the red calcite backdrop. Not easy to find - this specimen comes from the Jakobsberg Mine, close to the famous Langban mining area.
