Calcite, Willemite and Rhodonite, Franklin, New Jersey

This is a classic mineral association from Franklin, New Jersey; brightly fluorescent calcite and willemite in combination with pink rhodonite and black franklinite. Under short wave UV the calcite fluoresces bright red/orange and the willemite shows a green response. The rhodonite is not fluorescent. The size of this specimen is 73 x 58 x 47 mm, and it weighs 161 grams.
