This is a small, but interesting specimen of fluorescent wollastonite from an uncommon location. Collected from an unknown mine in Maricopa County, Arizona, this specimen consists of white, radiating, fibrous/acicular crystals of wollastonite on an unidentified tan-colored matrix. The wollastonite fluoresces cool white under SW UV. The size of this piece is 36 x 29 x 15 mm.
