Smithsonite from Mexico (Buena Tierra mine)

Very nice sample of Smithsonite. It consists of an agglomerate of small crystals having the shape of pine cones.

Some of them resemble grapes!

Fluorescence in Sw is quite and red but observing it under!!!

Eyes and phantoms that start from blue and become red passing through for purple... wonderful.

It's also fluorescent in LW (red) but it's not so nice as in Sw.

Size: 5.3 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm

Weight: 120 g

Alcuni agglomerati assomigliano a grappoli d'uva!

Collezione Stefano Buzzoni
